1. What qualifies a user a a "senior member"?

2. What number of posts makes you go up the ranks, e.g. 100 for STARS Sgt etc...

I'm not sure when members become seniors.

I think the post related ranks are about as follows:

0 - 9 posts: STARS Recruit
10 - 49? posts: STARS Officer
50? - 249 posts: STARS Sergeant
250 - 499 posts: STARS Lieutnant
500 - 999 posts: STARS Captain
1000 - 1999 posts: STARS Major
2000 - indefinite: STARS Chief

I think there is no higher rank than CHIEF. Echoey got more than 4000 posts and he's Chief.

I'm pretty sure that members need 100 posts, or somewhere around there, to become a senior member. I don't know exactly what the ranks are, perhaps Steve or Sephi can answer that one a bit better. Romero's sounds pretty accurate though.

Being me I was not happy with only getting it pretty accurate, so I took a dive and dug out the data. This is completely accurate.

The S.T.A.R.S ranks:

0 - 9 posts: S.T.A.R.S. RECRUIT
10 - 99 posts: S.T.A.R.S. OFFICER
100 - 249 posts: S.T.A.R.S. SERGEANT
250 - 499 posts: S.T.A.R.S. LIEU.
500 - 999 posts: S.T.A.R.S. CAPTAIN
1000 - 1999 posts: S.T.A.R.S. MAJOR
2000 - indefinite: S.T.A.R.S. CHIEF

The member groups that are determined by post count:

0 - 29 posts: Junior Member
30 - 99 posts: Member
100 - indefinite: Senior Member

Romero is pretty damn close! Very, very nearly spot-on. I haven't checked in a while but I think there's a few more secret ranks after "Chief" - I reckon I might check again to make sure. I'd like to get rid of the crappy "Senior Member" ranks, too, they're basically there by default and could do with being a bit more... Resident Evily..? Yeah.

More ranks? I wonder what ranks that could be. I think CHIEF sounds like the natural top rank. Maybe that's because I play RE4 heh.

You would rather have it dependant on the number of REN husbands/wives? Nah that was a joke, but what else than postcount should it depend on. For one reason or another Steve is not using a reputation system on this board anymore, and without that there is only the postcount to use.
