New Medal Gear Solid game, is it real?

So I was browsing the xbox live market place and was looking for some add-ons to download. I was looking for Mercenaries 2 I saw something about a Medal Gear Solid game for Xbox 360? I couldn't rember the actuall name of it, but it definitly said Medal Gear Solid.

So do you think that there really is a new MGS game coming out for Xbox 360 and possibly PS3?

I hope it is true because I nevered played a MGS game except for time I played number 2, but then I stoped due to that I was scared of it (I was only a little kid when I played it. I was less that 10 when I started playing it.)

There should be a new for PSP I think but I don't know anything about a new comming for the new gen consolse.

Well I just looked on the Metal Gear Solid wikia and it has been confrimed that there will be a new MGS game coming soon for PS3 and Xbox 360. It is titled Metal Gear Soild: Rising. The only bad thing I see for it right now is that Snake will not be the Main Character, instead it will be Raiden.

New game is called Metal Gear Solid:Rising and yeah the main character is going to be Raiden but not the gay Raiden the new badass cyborg ninja raiden that everyone fell in love with will be the character so the game wont be its old espionage duck and cover self
it is going to be more "Lightning Bolt Action"as they stated at Konami and Hideo Kojima sadly isnt working on it ); he is working on a new Castlevania game but hes got his favorite workers to work on it ;D and it should be released somewere in 2010 i believe

There's another one on PSP where you play as....UUHHHHH Old Naked Snake, MGS 3 Naked Snake, MGO Naked Snake and the game's Naked Snake.

So basically get ready to see 5 young Big Bosses standing next to each other, which will destroy your PSP and you.

Scared of mgs? Wow ive been playing it since i was under 10. Dnt see anything scary about it. And yes as people have said, the new console version willl be mgs:rising and the new handheld one will be set in the time of big boss again.

Well they could continue the story because in the last one I believe that they said Snake had a few more months to live and that they had one more mission to do and I know that was for Snake to be at peace and whatnot but they could also try to find a cure for this disease? like an anti nano machine thing or something?
