Wesker's Report outlined that Wesker rescued Ada at the last minute, although the details of this miraculous rescue aren't explained. I really don't know how she could have survived that fall, but Capcom sure enjoys its artistic liberties, haha.

No, she didn't fell that tunnel. That happened in Leon's A scenario which is non-canon.

In fact she "died" by Mr.X in Leon's B canon scenario. There's a really hot kiss in this scene too. I don't know how Leon figured out she was dead. Perhaps he was an idiot and forgot to check if her heart beats?

And I don't think that Wesker's report I is fully canon anymore.
