When I play as Chris. I can save both Jill and Rebecca.

but when I play as Jill. I only save Chris, and Barry dies.

No matter how hard I try I couldn't figure it out how to save both Chris & Barry.

The reason for this is because I want to obtain Colt Python with unlimited ammo for Jill. The weapon only comes when you play in ADVANCED mode.

I played the game as Chris:
- Less than 3 hours
- Saved both Jill & Rebecca.

What I got:
- R.Launcher
- Clothes
- Colt Python with unlimited ammo

However, I tried so hard as Jill in ADVANCED mode. Beat the game in less than 3 hours, saved Chris, but couldn't save Barry. If I can't save Barry, Jill won't be able to obtain the Colt Python with unlimited ammo.

So how? How to save Barry along with Chris?

Not sure I understand.

But anyway, if you want to save Barry, stay when he drops the rope, so he'll come back, that way he survives at the end. And use the 3 MO Discs for Chris inside of the cell.

that was totally UNEXPECTED.. I didn't know that I should wait and he would come back with another rope.. I thought in the story he wanna keep Jill away since Wesker wanna destroy S.T.A.R.S

but since you said he'll come back (and I assume he'll bring another rope).. is Jill gonna climb up or will Barry go down to search the new areas?

Yeah, he brings another rope, which you can climb to get back up, of course you can go back down too, I believe that also gives you the pass code for that one door.

When he comes back with the other rope, Jill will climb up the rope and he'll give her the code for that room that's on the same hall as the one with the red jewel in it. (The one on the second floor with the lights off and the deer head and birds that's near the stairs.) He won't stay with you but he will give you that code. This changes the series of events when he leads you to Wesker and what not and I think it might actually change one other cut-scene as well - one in the guardhouse - but I'm not sure...haven't played that game in a while.

As Magnolia said above, wait until Barry comes back with another rope. When you meet him in the Underground Caves, say "yes" to both prompts to guarantee his safety. If I remember... the cutscene with Wesker's betrayal should be slightly different. Barry will hit wesker with his gun and knock him out. Then, he asks Jill something like, "Can we see the...Tyrant now?".This type of cutscene means that you have saved Barry.
